Our Vision
St Thomas the Doubter is first a house church. We deliberately meet in my home to promote intimacy, belonging, and a familiar feel. We think church is supposed to be a community to belong to - wherever you are on the path of faith - instead of a well produced event. Secondarily, we are a liturgical church rooted in ancient, “thick” Christianity. Everyone has a part to play in our service, though we do enthusiastically welcome observers. Our goal is more spiritual healing in the face of Jesus Christ and an intimacy with the God who is our Creator, Father, Helper, and Husband.
We welcome all.
All can find belonging with us. We will always promote the way of Jesus, but we welcome all who are even curious.

What is Worship Like
Our worship is communal (we sit in the round), liturgical (both the pastor and the people participate throughout the service), and Sacramental (We put a lot of emphasis on the Mysteries of Baptism and Communion).
We sing together.
We spend a lot of time reading the Bible together.
We pray together.
We confess our faith and our sins together.
We celebrate Jesus by the power of the Spirit to the glory of the Father in the Sacrament of Holy Communion together.
It's all very simple and very sacred.
What Should I Know Before Coming?
We would love for you to join us for dinner or church or both! Before you do there are a few things you should know.
1. We don't really have programs. We believe children should grow up with the family of faith, and so we don't have childcare.
2. We are a Liturgical Housechurch Community. We have been deeply shaped by the Anglican tradition. There will be a digital liturgy that we follow during the ministry of Word and Sacrament.
